Days Inn by Wyndham San Antonio Morgan's Wonderland / IH-35 N

This was a business trip. I have stayed at this hotel before and booked a pre paid room for one night. In the past, I have never had to leave a security deposit. I had to give a credit card for $40 plus a non- refundable $1.08 which they said would be credited back the next morning upon checkout. Nothing was on the Expedia site that mentioned a security deposit. Anyone planning to stay there beware of this before you book. I still have not seen a credit to the $40 charge on my credit card and will contest the charge if I cannot resolve this in the next few days. I probably will never stay here again. The checkout process was slow. No one at front desk. Had to call the hotel from their lobby to get someone to come out and take my credit card for reimbursement of the charged security deposit.

I only chose this establishment because it was close to where I needed to be for a 3 day visit in San Antonio. But we had to pay an extra $40 for a property deposit in case my 70 year old self and 67 year old husband trashed our wheelchair accessible room! What? Only 2 cereal choices for breakfast, no fruit, 1 yogurt left at 8 AM, terrible coffee. We left and bought breakfast elsewhere every morning. The only satisfactory thing was the bed was comfortable, but they offered some of the worst toilet paper I've ever had the displeasure of using.

I had no problem with the staff, they did what had to be done and all the right way, no problem.

Air conditioner would not get cold so they offered a fan… to move around the hot air in the room. They had no other room to offer me.

Fast friendly service everything in the room worked as you should comfortable beds

Very good an professional service! They were very nice an friendly short staffed but they didn’t have a problem when I asked for something even though they were short staffed !! When I walked in it did smell like cat pee though other than that everything was fine

We had to leave in the middle of the night. The front desk called our room saying someone was there asking for someone we didn’t know. I told them they had the wrong room. A few minutes later there was a knock at our door. We kept quiet and then there was a more aggressive knock. We asked who it was and there was no answer. Through the cracks in the door we could someone standing there for a very long time. We couldn’t sleep. I stayed there with my 3 kids and we were all awake and afraid. As soon as we saw the coast was clear, we packed up and left. The front desk said everything was ok and we’d be ok, but just at that moment someone from another room called reporting the same thing. I wasn’t going to risk my family’s safety. We had to book at another hotel at 1 in the morning. I felt there was a lack of action on behalf of the staff to ensure our safety.

Dont stay there. They will switch your room to smoking without your approval and claim you chose that. Very rude and nasty people and rooms. I took pictures but they did not care. Not even corporate cares i called and they said they couldnt help
