GHT Miratge - Adults Only

we had never been to Lloret so didnt know what to expect, we loved the resort, not so much the hotel. The location was great right on the sea front, our room was good we had a back street view but all the rooms that are on the back have balconies, only a small amount on the sea view do. The room was a decent size with a nice shower and comfortable surroundings including the bed. The pool is on the roof top with great views but a very small area and the water is salt water, we always managed to get a seat as people was coming and going all day, a coupe of girls did leave their towels early one morning when they failed to come back after a couple of hours a couple looking for beds removed them and the girls didnt return for 7 hours which for a small area is unacceptable. The food was very poor the breakfast wasnt great I can normally find something enjoyable but after 3 days we gave up with it. The evening meals were very poor it was cold and mushy again we gave up with it. We would go back to Lloret but not to this hotel

We arrived at the hotel before the room was ready but checked in with a friendly staff member who put our cases safely away until the room was available. After a walk & drink We returned to the well located hotel and went to our room and found it to be at the rear of the hotel. The room was of a decent size with a good bathroom and decent shower. The room doesn’t have a kettle ( we took a travel one) but a small fridge is available. There is a safe in the wardrobe which was €24 plus a €10 deposit for the key for a week. The plus points for the hotel are it’s well located across the road from the beach, the staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and maintained daily. The roof top terrace is small but it was adequate for May and we got a bed most days ( I can imagine it being harder in the summer months) The bar is open from 12 till 8pm but longer in peak season. The downsides for us was the food, we were half board and whilst breakfast was ok and you could always get something the evening meals were disappointing . The main issue we had was the vegetables etc in the buffet trays were luke warm at best and cold on occasions. We actually ate out for the last 4 days of our week’s holiday. Final summary we loved Lloret , enjoyed the hotel but actually disliked the evening meals.

Great hotel , staff very welcoming and helpful and through are stay. Food good breakfast and night time. Room cleaned daily hotel very clean , bar snacks and food reasonably price. Great views from roof top pool , Good location to local bars and restaurants

No air conditioning on a really hot day, we were told we were not using it properly, we were!very mixed messages about the air conditioning, crack in the shower tray , reception staff not interested at all. All staff seemed miserable. The food, OK the so called show cooking on the Saturday night was a pile of chicken breasts which looked awful and some kind of fish both been cooked on the same hot plate in fear of cross contamination I refused, so I got a pre cooked chicken wing which when cut into was pink all the food was Luke warm or cold so neither myself or my wife would eat the evening fayre at all during our stay, and only had toast or croissant at breakfast, the big bowls of yogurt and pre boilled eggs may of been put out over and over as there was no dates on them, in short we had lost total confidence in the food. In previous reviews I noticed the safe was free not now 5euros per night +10 euro deposit. In all this Hotel is pretending to be something it isn't. The rooftop tiny pool which our rep informed us is not heated and looked cloudy with only 10 sun beds and no unbrealleas. The hotel policy is they do not take groups of male or females or individuals that may be involved in stag or hens ,usually between 1a-3am there was loud noise from groups of people arriving back to their rooms with no thought for anyone else. If you want a holiday with little choice of lukewarm undercooked food an over sized paddling pool and staff that really don't seem bothered then this ones for you. Oh yes and don't be fooled by the coffee machine in the room you only get 2 pods after that you have to pay, total rip off.

This is a small hotel right on the sea front. The hotel was very clean everywhere during our weeks stay. We had a great room, having paid extra, for sea view and balcony, well worth it. The room had enough space, clean bright bathroom with good shower, but like most hotels, limited wardrobe/cupboard space. The roof top pool is small and good for a dip, not doing lengths, and limited sunbed/deck chair availability. The rooftop bar had very limited opening ours, with a very good seating area, which was sadly wasted as it couldn't be used in the evening. The downstairs bar was very small, and no clearly defined comfortable lounge area to sit and have a drink in the evening. Having read some previous reviews regarding the food and service, we were totally mystified. For the size of the hotel, the choice and quality for both breakfast and evening meals was great for both of us, and one's a very fussy eater !! Breakfast hot food, some cooked to order, from a full English, warm continental, cooked meats, fruit, cereals, different breads, juices, diabetic products, 5 different milks and fresh ground coffee machine. How anyone could not eat well was beyond us. Evening meals similar with choice of 3/4 meats cooked to order, plus 1/2 fresh fish, which we made sure we watched to ensure no underdone items, choice of vegetables, plenty of cooked meats, salad, and fruit, salad and puddings. We both put wight on !!! The staff everywhere were very friendly and always wanted to help. They seemed to enjoy their jobs, which rubs off on guests. Based on our experience we would go to this hotel again.

I enjoyed the wide, very comfortable bed. The food was great quality, variety and the dining room had a pleasant ambience. In view of the global warming I consider that there is no need to change the towels daily and the bed linen so often. This was made clear by visiting the Virtula Tour in The Castle in Lloret de Mar. Everything on arrival was excellent ,breakfast was delicious ,the room and view was lovely I cannot have asked for more The staff were very helpful and friendly.The pool on the roof was also nice with drinks and bar snacks. I really enjoyed my stay.I would definitely be returning. Recommend.

Not our first time in Lloret de Mar, but we picked this hotel because of the 4 star rating and the great photos of the facilities. Reception staff and waitresses were genuinely lovely and helpful – full marks to them. Sadly, that’s where the positives end. The room was fine but nowhere near 4 star standards. We’d added breakfast and dinner to the booking – worst decision ever. Food was as cheap as it comes: yesterday’s bread and fruit, bland dishes, and the “live‑cooking” chef served me a chicken breast still raw after barely 2 minutes on the grill. All meats cooked on the same surface too, so cross‑contamination is a real concern!😑 4 stars for the staff, one star (being generous) for the food. I wouldn’t stay again. If you really want to book here, choose room only and spend your money on breakfast and dinner elsewhere.
