El Sol Monteverde

Tout était absolument parfait, dans les moindres détails. Véritable coup de cœur pour cet établissement. Beaucoup de charme, très propre. Accueil chaleureux et personnalisé, environnement magnifique. Petit déjeuner et dîner délicieux. Je le recommande vivement.

Unsere Deluxe Villa hat aller Erwartungen übertroffen: die Villa liegt alleinstehend, mit Terrasse incl. Jacuzzi und atemberaubender Aussicht/Weitsicht auf die Natur. Das Frühstück (und Abendessen, wenn dieses in der Unterkunft konsumiert wird) wird einem auf das Zimmer serviert, die Villa/Cabin verfügt über eine kleine und praktische Küche. Die Villa/Cabin ist sehr geräumig und auch die Aussicht aus dem Bett ist einmalig. Das Personal ist sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Einfache und prompte Kommunikation via WhatsApp.

Fantastisches Personal

This resort is a hidden gem. Completely different than any we have experienced. Lovely, roomy cottage for 5 adults. Two couch beds, very comfortable. Two bedrooms with double beds, also very comfortable. Two bathrooms, living area, kitchen. Lovely outdoor space, with hooks n trees for a hammock. Beautiful grounds, gorgeous pool area. Close drive to Santa Elena, cloud forest, coffee and chocolate tour. Breakfast was OTT good! My adult sons were raving. And Javier, the manager! He could not do more for us. He was so helpful, with booking tours, paying attention to food allergies, looking after our safety and comfort. I highly recommend El Sol if you are planning to tour the area.

Sehr gute Lage, um die Nationalparks zu erkunden! Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal, tolle Villen, schöner Pool mit tollem Ausblick.

Leider keine Klima, da es bei uns sehr heiß war.

We experienced El Sol as a very special, small, and quiet resort on top of the mountains of Monteverde. This altitude offers fantastic views of the Costa Rican landscape. The cottages are painted and decorated with great love in all colors, allowing you to truly experience the sunny soul of the resort. The current owner, Javier, gave us a very warm welcome and showed us around, telling us how his parents built the resort. In the evening, we were served a fantastic meal with plenty of healthy foods and vegetables, and in the morning, a delicious, extensive breakfast. There was also plenty on the menu for vegans. When the sun had set and the cool wind picked up from the mountains, you could take a lovely jacuzzi with a view of the bright stars. Monteverde is a very nice mountain village with a good ambiance in the neighboorhood.

Clean and peaceful. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Two issues: there was a dog from a neighbor who barked a lot during the night. There was no A/C, which required the windows to be open at night.

Beautiful spot and a very special way to be introduced to Monteverde.

La beauté du site, la gentillesse de la dame à l’accueil, la piscine, la vue, les jardins, la villa très grande et toute équipée, les attentions pour les enfants. C’était magnifique!
