Downtown Memphis Shellcrest Apartments

Clean apartment, comfortable bed plus one sofa bed, hot shower.

The second bed was a sofa bed, not a second bedroom. The location was just too far out of Memphis to walk, particularly over a main freeway and wouldn't have risked it at night. Always disappointed when accommodations don't provide a folder of information on local restaurants and taxis etc.

Very cute property. really nice updates to the home.

There was a mound of dirty towels/comforters right as you open the door when we checked in. This wasn’t nice to see, we also saw the bed completely unmade and dirty mugs in the kitchen sink. Very disappointed, seemed lazy and would prevent us from rebooking if not addressed by the owner.

it’s not really close to downtown at all, not if you’re not renting a car anyway. Also my partner and I really didn’t feel safe, the front door is constantly left unlocked by other people staying at the property and there’s just a general uneasy feeling about the place. It needs a lot of TLC, and the owners need to invest in new linens/towels as there’s a lot of questionable stains.

The apartment was BEAUTIFUL! Location was STELLARand thee hosts are AMAZING!
