Quality Inn West Lafayette - University Area

Location only. Close to university and food options.

Hotel entrance was dark and not inviting. Getting to room felt sketchy with dim lights and walkway was dingy. Once in room, hit with intense pungent odor and asked for a different room immediately. There were bugs and ants by sink and couch smelled like urine. We wanted to leave that night but we wanted celebrate our son’s graduation.

The location is ok

Very dated, broken furniture, safe box did not work, curtains were torn, house keeping was not complete and really bad. Front desk staff was not helpful and often rude. Room had cob webs.

Food was good and location. Pillows were comfortable.

Pool is out of service and no where in the near future will it be fixed. Price gouged for Purdue commencement. Walls are paper thin and housekeeping was loud in morning. Plus there was no toilet paper in the bathroom and comforter had blood on it from previous guest!

Everything was very dated. The pool and hot tub were out of service. The work out equipment was very dated and faced the wall and the TV was behind you so you could watch anything if you wanted to. The mattresses weren't very comfortable. My reservation was for a king bed but got two queen beds maybe. They seemed small because my feet hung off the end and thay is not usual. Cost is hard to judge because the price gets jacked up double or more of the usually cost because it is graduation weekend. Rooms were 399/night plus taxes. So very expensive. I reserved way early and paid only 225 total for a night. One of Tampa was broken but worked. The other didn't work at all.

Rundown and everything smells of cheapness

The location was great and the staff was friendly

The pool and hot tub were both closed. Breakfast was sub par. The room wasn’t nasty dirty, but could have been cleaner. There was a funky smell in the room as well.

The hotel was outdated. In my opinion very dirty. The windows were filthy. The glass in the elevators were filthy. I have OCD and have anxiety at to dirtiness and wanted to clean the whole place. Reasonable distance from Purdue. Upset that Booking.com did not update the listing that the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance book there for the pool and hot tub. Very basic breakfast cereal, oatmeal, toast, bagels, eggs, yogurt, juice, and one waffle maker.
