Quality Inn West Lafayette - University Area

They put us in a hallway that I think we had to ourselves, so it was nice and quiet. I liked the price, and it was a decent stay and value.

Pool was "under maintenance" which was disappointing. Desk clerk seemed under a lot of stress. She took care of our check-in, but I didn't want to bother her with much else. I felt bad for her situation. Seems like she could use help. I did not see anybody else at the motel other than her.

Everything pool was closed, breakfast was a joke one little croc pot of gravy and a little waffle maker, there were stains on the bed and the shower was barely warm

Everything was clean

Staff was wonderful. Well lit. Clean.

The location

The bed sheets and pillows were stained , the shower head wouldnt turn and wasnt in the right spot. The pool was closed

The bed was very comfy

The hot tub was empty, the bathtub drain not draining while taking a shower the water was backed up to my ankles, the towels needed to be washed or replaced they looked to be stained or dirty, the shampoo they provide was empty, and the hand soap small bottle was half used and not replaced, the smell was not so great in the whole hotel, the room was clean but smelled to have been recently sprayed with bug spray.

Location, near Purdue campus for a school visit for my son to attend college. That was the only good thing.

Room was a mess, found bottle caps in several locations upon entering, no hot water, bed was old and uncomfortable, overcharged the rate I was given. Wifi signal was very poor. Website said there is a pool upon arrival was told it was closed. Asked why I was charged more and they stated they charge more then the booking place, they also charge a $50 deposit without any notice.

I had a late check in - the staff were very nice
