My room had insects and it was disturbing and disgusting. We asked to change the room and they moved us immediately, which was a bonus for them

upon check-in I was given a basic room and told to stay there until the following day because the room I had already paid for was unavailable. This is completely unacceptable. If the high tier room was not available, it should never have been sold in the first place??? while still charging me the full price of the upgraded room I never received on the first night. Paying a premium rate and being placed in an unattractive standard room is not the level of service any guest should expect!!!! The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and failure to deliver the accommodation that was paid for made this a very disappointing experience. I would not expect this level of service from a reputable hotel, and unfortunately, it left a very negative impression.
