"Outstanding Hospitality"

10.0

By far the best FS property I have ever visited. Yes the hotel is stunning and beautiful and immaculate but what sets FS Boston apart from even other FS properties is the insane dedication to hospitality here to an almost unreasonable level. They were so generous to our family to the point where we were almost in tears. And if you have a little one, they have lots of surprises geared towards children that are sure to delight them. FS Boston just absolutely loves kids and will go totally above and beyond to make their day. I will never stay anywhere else in Boston ever again.

"Sit at the bar"

Situated right near the park this place is great for a late night drink. Excellent wine choices and friendly staff. Decor is as to be expected: charming and immaculate Prices are reasonable and you won’t have to wait long for service, good night cap spot

"Great location with first class spa and friendly staff, but the catering facilities could be better"

8.0

Room location was excellent overlooking the park and close to the spa and pool. Spa and pool facilities were excellent. All the staff we encountered were most courteous and helpful.

Cooked Breakfast was unfortunately cold on arrival. Omelette not really good. Had to have coffee replaced as that was cold too! We expected the formal dining room on the ground floor to be a little "grander". The food on the night we ate there was disappointing too. It really shouldn't take much to prepare a decent Caesar Salad!! There is a coffee bar on the ground floor which is ok and the staff are really helpful but it is not open all the time. It would be better to replace tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Not my favorite Four Seasons. I requested that they remove any alcohol from my room and they didn’t accommodate that simple request. They seemed hurried. B-

"Great stay"

10.0

We had a great time at our stay at the four seasons Boston, my wife, especially fell in love with the vault, which is a secret room of late night treats. Unfortunately, we went up there to see the Yankees play the Boston Red Sox and the Yankees lost, but that couldn’t diminish a good time we had at the four seasons.

"Repeat Guests and it never disappoints!"

10.0

Honestly it’s the only place we will stay in Boston. The location is incredible. We are both runners and we can run straight from the front door. Anything we requested this staff was on it! The front door help was always paying attention and willing to accommodate. Ordered a coffee machine straight to our room. We came back from the Red Sox game and it was waiting for us. Gym staff was so helpful and kind. Drinks in the lobby and the chowder was so good, we ordered it twice. The Vault, it’s awesome… please don’t get rid of it. We social media the heck out of it, and it’s such a guest forward gesture. :) Thank you for being such a special hotel, your staff even with Four Seasons standards is second to none.

"lovely hotel in an amazing location"

8.0

Wonderful Hotel in one of the best locations. Traveled with husband and two boys here Boston marathon weekend (not on purpose - just happened to be at the end of spring break). Pros: +The toy room - a little room in the back of reception with vintage toys that the kids can pick from like playing cards, slinkys, wind up toys, glasses, etc. They let our kids use the "key" to open the room. +The vault - a room on every floor with chips, candy, jelly beans, sparkling water soda. Was very nice but wish there was a little healthier options for snacks for the kids like juice boxes, milk or fruit. +Cookies and lemonade in the lobby at 3:30 ++Hotel guests get free barista made drinks until 10:30 at the coffee bar, which was a lovely way to start the morning. Never get rid of this please, but do consider extending the hours +Concierge was excellent and made a ton of recommendations and reservations for us +Car service if available going to anywhere within 2 miles but they don't pick you up to bring to back to the hotel +Pool is small with nice large hot tub. Bathrooms up there are excellent for your last day and there are a lot of thoughtful inclusions like a spinner and plastic bags for bathing suits. +Free water bottles in your room. +Upon arrival - fruit and whoopie pies ++THE NIGHTLIGHT! The nightlight in the bathroom is the perfect dimness for a small hotel room. +headphones in the well equipped gym to listen to music while you're on the treadmill +location was excellent Cons: -We didn't get a welcome drink -There was no cleaning cloth for your glasses. I requested it from housekeeping in the am because i had forgotten mine and had to call for it again later. Still no cloth. Then i stopped a room attendant in the hallway to ask and then later the pool attendant. It seemed like a huge deal to get this small thing. Hate that i had to keep asking over several days. Other FS would just leave them out for you when they saw you had glasses. Apparently they were low in stock. Either that or we didn't rate. -downstairs restaurant was disappointing. Clam chowder was just meh. quincy Market and James Hook were better and half the price. Beef slider patties were SUPER dry on a dry bun. This made for dry burgers my kids didn't want to eat and was way overpriced. -seems like there was a lot of wasted space in the lobby area especially since there was occasionally a restaurant on the second floor that opens when the downstairs restaurant is closed. Strange that it wasn't a fancy bar or similar. Also, the cookies and lemonade were on a tiny bar cart on the side of the lobby when i feel like it could have been moved to the area in front of the coffee place, since it doesn't ever open again after 11. I feel like this place needs a quick breakfast or snack pick up place to grab something before you walk around the city. Most of the pastries in the coffee shop were sold out in the mornings. We went around the corner to grab breakfast sandwiches from Mike & Patty's most mornings.
