The hotel was great. Very clean and the staff is super helpful. It doesn't feel as busy as it is. We had 2 rooms, one downside was the floors are split based on the room design. We had a 2 king city deluxe and 1 king city deluxe and they were a floor apart. It didn't truly matter because the one room was for my FIL, so I'm sure he didn't mind getting a break at the end of the day. Just something to be mindful of. The first room he was assigned, was under construction. As in, he and my husband walked in and there was a painters cart, ladder, etc. No problem, we went downstairs and changed his room. We included breakfast in our stay. WELL WORTH IT! It was mostly the same thing every day, but it was delicious and well worth the price. If we didn't include it, it would have cost us around $140 each morning. Plenty of food, plenty of options for everyone. The hotel is on top of L'Efant Plaza, which makes the metro incredibly easy to navigate. They even have an elevator in the lobby that brings you down to the plaza. All metro lines go to this plaza, so you can take any of them, from anywhere. The National Guard was posted right outside the elevator during the night hours, which was an added bonus. There is a Starbucks in the lobby, it closes at 3PM. We did not buy anything because we had breakfast included. The beds were comfortable, and spacious. Housekeeping came everyday that we requested. There is a doorbell on the outside of the doors, and a pad on the inside of the door to change "do not disturb" or "service needed" This was so much better than a door hanger! I wish every hotel had these. Our view to the left was the Washington Monument, and the view to the right was the Capital Dome. Couldn't beat it! Valet parking was also great. The group working was so polite and nice to work with. Well worth $65 a day. Overall, this hotel worked great for our family and I recommend it if you're visiting DC.

Could not watch TV the entire time due to glitchy Internet. Barely had hot water, and the ice machine didn’t work.

A small buffet with limited choices for four (2 adults, 2 teens) was over $100.00! It was slightly better than the free continental breakfast you get for free at most other hotels, but not worth nearly the cost!

It was way too expensive for the meager selection offered/provided!

The room was clean with the exception of the floors, which would leave your feet pretty covered in dust. I do feel like the housekeeper tried their best. The deluxe rooms were very basic and I still don’t understand what the upgrade was that we paid for. The city view was pretty bad and there is no explanation as to why this would have been an additional fee. There is absolutely no room service in the hotel. I was quite surprised by that. Haven’t experienced a Hilton or hotel without any form of room service in years. The room had two king beds and one chair, plus a luggage bench. The breakfast buffet was overpriced, but had the basics. The advertisement for the hotel gave me the impression that it was on the water, but it absolutely is not. You have to cross a highway to get to the water. Additionally they advertise a food court below the hotel, but don’t be fooled, it is reminiscent of something from the USSR, stark and depressing. If you think 1990s Holiday Inn, you will get the overall feel for this hotel. Surprising for a Hilton, but priced as such, I suppose.

Super convenient location near metro.

Shared building…only floors 11-15 are Hiltons. We were super far from the elevator. The ac/ heater didn’t work.

Such a bad experience. Thanh at the front desk could not be any worse. And he was supposedly the manager on duty. I'm not sure about all the stuff other people like, but the terrible customer service just overrides anything else. Unreal how much they charge for this pos hotel
