"A nice smaller Hyatt Regency hotels!"

Nice small Hyatt Regency hotels. Very good service. Response to request very quick. Renovation in the room and building is up to date. Nice smaller pool quite enjoyable. Lawn can be better utilized for activities though.

"Good hotel but room for improvement."

I stay here when I go to Los Angles for business. Have for five years. Used to go here to meet with friends when I lived in CA. This is generally a nice hotel. Beware of events that take over the facility. Also beware of the elevator that closes whether you are all the way in or not. Location is golden near lots of great food and Westlake in general is beautiful. The staff is also generally very good, but they were less than concerned when my Italian blazer which I left in the bar area for just an hour before realizing I left it was taken. Basically, my blazer was stolen by a guest I suspect.

"Family trip to Malibu"

Excellent hotel stay from Start to finish. Front desk staff responded to my request for a room change as the original room faced the highway and I preferred a quiet location. The room and bathroom were clean. Bed was soft but comfortable. TV selection was limited. Harvest restaurant onsite was excellent and priced well. All staff from housekeeping to bellman and security were polite and helpful. The pool and hot tub were clean and nice. Am excise room onsite was well stocked with newer equipment and showers . Across the street was a nice shopping center including sprouts grocery store restaurants , salons , medi spa, florist , coffee/tea spot and upscale shops. Close to Malibu and many nearby attractions.

"Hyatt Poor Service"

99% of hotels offer complementary bottles of water. This Hyatt does not if you are not a Hyatt rewards member. Last time I will ever stay at a Hyatt. Simple this simple they cannot give guests. Ridiculous. The Holiday Inn even gives complimentary water.

The staff was my favorite part of my stay here. Very friendly. Unfortunately my rating is quite low because of how horrendous the bedding is. I wish I could attach a photo, the comforter was literally see-through. It seemed like 98% of the filling is gone and it was essentially two sheets sewn together. The sheets did not feel very nice, either. That alone is worth a bad rating, as having a comfy bed is one of the most important things for a hotel. Way too expensive for that, there’s no excuse. For that reason I’m not sure I’ll ever stay at a Hyatt again if that’s an acceptable way to dress the beds.
