Hyatt Regency Westlake

The team at the property was very friendly and flexible.

The lobby was great! The staff was awesome! The room was kind of unclean. Details were definitely missed! The mirrors were dirty. The glass doors had handprints on them. Things were dusty. The ice machine was out of ice. And for over $300 a night I shouldn’t have to pay for water!

The food was tasty and a good value. The bed was comfortable. Liked having a couch and coffee table in seating area rather than chairs. The room was well sized. The use of fountains to detract from freeway noise.

View from room was of equipment. There was deferred maintenance: sliding door very hard to open, reading light over one side of bed not working, landscape lights flickered off and on on dining terrace, gate to pool was jammed, though that did get repaired. We would have liked furniture on balcony, and some rugs in the room and bathroom. Double basins would add value. Pool area was not very pretty.

The room was great! Everything was tidy and clean including the bathrooms. The bed and pillows were comfortable. Coffee and tea were supplied in room. The bellhop and valet men were awesome. So kind, welcoming and helpful. The front desk seemed a little unapproachable and were delayed in waiting on me, but the hotel was quite busy with the convention.

Very nice hotel. Breakfast was huge, we ordered off the menu. The room was great as well. The pool was a bit crowded but even that worked out as people left as we arrived opening up some chairs.

this hotel is awful. never expect anything if you stay at the Hyatt in Westlake Village. You'll have a better experience at Motel 6!

I was there on an overnight stay, having been traveling since 3:00 am so I was grateful for the early check-in! Excellent service, one small glitch, remote on my TV wasn't working, mentioned it when I went out for dinner and when I came back it still wasn't fixed. Problem finally resolved. The view from my window was of one of the HVAC systems, which might be a consideration for some, but as I mentioned it was an overnight stay, I was tired, so it didn't matter to me. This is an excellent Hotel in every way, and I will stay there every time I am in the Westlake area.

Was I great place to stay would donut again!
