Hyatt Regency Westlake

The hotel was in a good location with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. Everything was in beautiful condition and the staff was very helpful. We especially liked the under the bed lights that came on when we got up in the night. The shower and water pressure was good. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

When I left.

I checked in after a long flight & the room was so cold, the North Pole was warmer! My room was quite grubby & dated. It was a weekend so there were kids running up & down the corridors … awful! Went to the restaurant to get a bite to eat then had to endure foul language loudly from another table, the staff said nothing!! I have contacted the staff on many occasions regarding this & mostly have fallen on deaf ears. They did refund me for the dinner i had of which there was nothing wrong with it was everything else that was the issue. We were in the accommodation for around 8 hours & it was 8 hours too long!!

Overall nice. Restaurant staff very friendly and helpful. Love the fact that our dog could use most areas of the resort. Some updating is needed. Building - there are some cracks, peeling of paint, and general wear-n-tear. Outside - landscape maintenance needed, especially large turf area near waterfall. If the check in staff mentions your room has a view - all sides look into a parking lot. The trees surrounding the property give a nice impression, but are insufficient as "a view."

I had a lovely stay at Hyatt Regency Westlake - the staff were all so friendly, the room had a big TV and was very clean. Thank you!
