Hyatt Regency Westlake

We did not stay at this hotel, but met up with 2 other couples who were staying here. As the six of us settled into some couch seating at the bar, (following a memorial service), staff jumped into action, bringing carafes of ice water and glassware. They even offered to pour the water. Their service was greatly appreciated. We ordered and paid for our drinks at the bar, and the staff then brought our drinks. Their excellent service made a tough day a little better. Thank you.

I was charged twice for the room. I was also told that I would have a digital key and was never provided one. I upgraded my room but never received an upgrade. And most importantly, I was charged twice and am now having to chase down an explanation of why this happened while waiting for over $400 to be reimbursed. Absolutely unacceptable.

Highly recommend. Beautiful hotel and fast, friendly, and professional front desk staff. The room exceeded all expectations, I especially love the hand soap and shower gel scents. Great choice.

Beautiful location. Everything was super clean and easy enough access to LA. Gym was superb and the decorations made the whole place stand out even more.

Updated and partially remodeled, the property has maintained the Regency standard over the years and today is a comfortable hotel well located for local access. We spent four days in a small suite with a comfortable bed, a small lounge area and a bathroom with the best of overhead showers. While spacious, the room layout did not provide any separation between the sleeping and seating areas so that the seating area was not usable when one of us was asleep. The room had a small work desk with convenient power and several USB sockets. Task lighting at the desk was reasonable but the room was generally underlit and was dark. Exceptions were the automatic motion activated lighting at floor level by the bed and in the bathroom - great for night time wayfinding. Room attendant service was inconsistent with, for example, glasses being washed and coffee supples replaced only on some days. A neat feature was the digital clock built into the bathroom mirror - but otherwise the decor was minimalist with no artwork Parking is easy in the huge surrounding lots shared with local businesses - but at a price.

This hotel never disappoints. The location is great, always very clean. The staff has been wonderful and they go out of their way to make sure you have all that you need. Great about upgrades and Hyatt benefits!
