I recently stayed at the Pendry and had an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The hotel itself is beautiful—elegant, modern, and spotless. Our room was comfortable with thoughtful details that made the stay even better. Every part of our visit, from check-in to dining, exceeded expectations. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Pendry to anyone looking for a truly great hotel experience.

Ive stayed at this property at least 30 years first as a Four Seasons, then Island Hotel, and now Pendry. The staff was friendly anticipating our every need. Its a great hotel matching the beauty of Newport Beach.

Very average below for the cost, many issues, bathroom light, dusty surfaces, no bottled water on certain days, no turndown even on request.

From the minute we checked in I knew I made the right hotel choice....rooms and public rooms were gorgeous and the location was perfect! Thank you for the little cake for my friend such a nice touch and loved the later checkout

The bar was busy so getting drinks was slow although server was very nice .....not sure i got the $150 off 75x2 for our bar bill.....I booked 2 rooms

Having traveled extensively across the world, I can honestly say that The Pendry Newport Beach delivered one of the finest hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the warm, professional staff to the beautifully designed rooms and outstanding cuisine, every aspect was exceptional. The attention to me and detail, comfort, and hospitality reflect property leadership that understands true luxury. If you’re visiting Newport Beach and want an unforgettable stay, The Pendry should be at the top of your list.

I cannot speak more highly about a few things regarding Pendry at Newport Beach. First off the hotel itself, gorgeous. The rooms, elegant and classy design. Nothing is outdated like other hotels. Secondly, the location. It’s perfect if you want to be near everything: beach, shopping, restaurants, etc. Third, the food - incredible!! Not only is room service food top notch but SET restaurant has the best sushi (not to mention amazing Mac and cheese sticks!). But the very best part of all, the SERVICE. I cannot speak more highly of the incredible hospitality from the staff here at the Pendry. My family and I came here during the summer, and after such an amazing stay came again. I have to give a huge thanks and credit to a certain individual- Ms. Lauren Lopez. This person not only went above and beyond but made sure our stay was perfect in every way. I cannot thank her enough, and because of how amazing the hotel was and how amazing she was to us, those are the reasons we came back to stay here again. With that said, I ask that the Pendry corporate offices not only recognize this review but more importantly recognize this individual for her exceptional hospitality. Thank you again to Lauren and the entire Pendry staff for everything. Truly a pleasure staying at your hotel. We will always be repeat customers at the Pendry.

Top notch hotel in Newport Beach. Doesn’t have the waterfront pedigree of many of its competitors, but makes up for it in style and service. Had a good rate (3 nights for price of 2); checked me in early and gave a complimentary upgrade. Hotel is very stylish and rooms are nicely appointed. Main bar is top notch; the gym is exceptional. Only gripe is their casual coffee/breakfast spot is extortionately overpriced. Highly recommend and hope to return!
