Everything was excellent! The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The hotel has a perfect location. We also really enjoyed the cozy lounge, where guests can relax and enjoy complimentary wine during the hotel’s wine hour. It was a lovely place to unwind after a day of sightseeing and made our stay even more enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel!

I liked the excellent service from the staff. I liked the location along the lake and the varied spaces inside with decks and patios where you could sit indoors or outside. My room was very quiet and faced an inner courtyard where birds were singing. I loved that! I also liked the excellent buffet breakfast and the fine Italian restaurant next door for dinner. Very convenient after you have been busy sightseeing and walking all day. This hotel is not air conditioned and it was warmer than usual (for the season) on the day I arrived. There was a fabulous Dyson air fan that helped a lot and I used it for 4 full days. One of the staff came up and opened the windows so that the air fan was drawing in cool air from the courtyard. That made it very comfortable for sleeping.

I was travelling solo and the room was very small with very little space to open up my suitcase. However, I realize the hotels have much smaller rooms in Europe than in Canada.
