Pros: - Comfortable room was well laid out. I really liked that there was a HDMI cable for the TV that worked easily. - Friendly staff were great. - Location is convenient for downtown, Parliament and the Byward Market are a very reasonable walk away. O-Train access is handy. - Good food options. I had planned to get my breakfasts at the Tim Horton's or the on site restaurant but the fridge meant I was able to get snacks and breakfast supplies from the very nearby Food Basics. The catered food at our event was also pretty good. Cons: - I found my room a bit loud. There was noise from the fridge, what I assumed was the HVAC, plumbing, street noise and sort of ding noise that I never did figure out if it was the elevators or something outside the hotel. I suspect I am more sensitive to it than some but maybe bring earplugs if you are sensitive. - Wifi was mostly good but seemed to drop intermittently over a few days. Apparently they were having issue with it. I would stay here again but overall I'd say my recent stay at the HGI down the road was slightly better overall. (I was on a higher floor that time which might have helped with the noise?)

Staff were very helpful, rooms were spacious, and the option for secure indoor parking was good. Very good location for downtown.

Booked 'deluxe one-bedroom' for spouse and child, and was assigned two rooms interconnected - not quite as advertised - though rooms were large. Walls were thin (could hear other rooms), heating / AC was loud, and things in general are a bit dated.

The stay was acceptable; clean sheets, room etc. Descent area and friendly staff. Nice pool for swimming. The sink was missing caulking and had visible mold on the inside, shower head was incredibly small and finger tight leaking water. The sauna was inoperable as it does not get warm enough to be usable.

The place was very clean, well located and beautiful

It was a bit on the pricy side.
