The Strathallan Rochester Hotel & Spa, Tapestry by Hilton

This is a beautiful part of Rochester. many restaurants/cafes within a moderate walking distance. (say up to a mile)

It’s a nice and clean hotel. Staff and facilities are very accommodating.

It’s quite pricy. I stayed for 3 nights and with incidental charges (the charge prior to seeing how you leave the hotel room) it was 1k.

Umbauarbeiten die nicht vorher angekündigt wurden und der gesamte Eingangsbereich eine Baustelle war. Restaurant ebenfalls geschlossen aber ohne Info vorab und sehr ungesundes Frühstücksangebot.

Reserved room. Needed a specific type. Paid for upgrade. Stayed at this specific location as it was recommended highly. My daughter had a procedure done and needed to be comfortable for the next 24 hours, arrived to check in, room was not ready, gave us "better room" (i booked a suite)top floor corner. Filthy! Bathroom used and not clean. Sheets dirty and visible brown marks on sheets and pillows. Called manager and he came immediately up and reviewed room and immediately gave us new accommodations. Meanwhile - after 2 hours of this. Post surgery. Not a pleasant transition! Your manager did hop right on it and was very apologetic. Would i return to your establishment or give a great review of property. I would definitely look elsewhere first and try another property before booking at this specific property again.
