"Chaotic “relaxation”"

The property was nice and the staff were great.

The pool!- rules state no food or drink in the pool, both days the pool was packed Which is to be expected but what devalued my stay was drunk adults being belligerent loud & rude, overtaking the pool and hot tub, guys sitting in the hot tub drinking alcohol and getting more loud, my kids were not allowed to enjoy the pool bc other parents (that were drunk) kept telling them to move out of their kids way no matter where they were in the pool. But what I didn’t appreciate was the drunk people actively drinking in the hot tub and being disrespectful to me and my partner for the fact we are gay… it was overall uncomfortable. The hotel and the stay at the hotel was fine but if the rules were upheld in the pool I imagine I would have enjoyed the stay more being able to truly relax. My only other issue was the hotel is pet friendly but my dog whimpering or barking in my room I was spoken to about which the lady that spoke to me was respectful and professional but in my opinion when you advertise pet friendly you would not have issue with a dog whimpering… mind you we were in the hotel at the pool, whenever we left the hotel we took our dog with us. So the only time it was alone to whimper would be while we were in the pool or at breakfast.
