Alsol Don Palomón

The location was very good, close to the beach, restaurants and shops. The apartment was clean and spacious.

The furniture is rather old, but I understood that it will be renovated this year.

Nära till allt, lugnt ställe utan trafik. Fantastiskt utsikt.

Location

Despite arriving at check-in time (3pm), waited 45mins to check in as no staff available on site. Minimally equipped. Wifi only worked in specific areas of the unit…on or near the balcony.

Near the beach and shops . Very quite.

Nothing- great for a 3 night break

Arrived a little later than expected. Someone was still at the property, they let us in and gave us the keys, etc. otherwise you would have to wait for someone to let you in if you are a late arrival. Did not meet any other 'hosts' the entire stay. The apartment size was good. The shower was good. Location was good for the beach and beach walkway. Shops are within walking distance Cita closest, Sandia a little further.

The property had a clean fresh smell but on closer inspection, and not that close, we found other peoples hair still in the apartment along with 'many' small creatures around the sink area and bathroom area, where damp was evident. The kitchen utensils were limited & they had no egg cups !!!! When using the kitchens hotplate you had to open the sliding door and when you wanted the air-con on, you closed the sliding door...the apartment we had, nothing worked because the switch was, as the maintenance man put it.. 'kaput' !!!! They have 'contract' cleaners, not on-site cleaners. The facilities included a Jacuzzi, this was never checked or cleaned whilst we were there. The pool is a salt water pool, this was never cleaned with a pool hoover whilst we were there, we are always awake @ 6am, well before the maintenance man arrived or the cleaning staff. The beach access was very good although the gate to the beach states that it gets locked at 9pm, it was locked a lot earlier than 9pm ! Therefore you had to walk around the building area to get back to the beach walk path. When the people in the above apartments move furniture around, including on the balcony, you can very clearly hear the noise.... would we rebook... no.

Cleanliness

Good area location. Cleaning did her best. even just 4 days In 7 Plus to the cleaning woman she did give new towels Day before we went Home. Sadly she cant pull up the many level this place dropped

Before owner before It changed to Alsol. Was much better when you arrived you got free water and a bottle of Wine. Everyday was newbaked bread on Doors. Its all gone this service not exist anymore. Before if you forgot to buy beer. - water - sodapop. That minibar also gone. Its sad to say that service level went from very High like 8 to 5 or 6. And Price not cheaper. Another Big change also. Before owner you could book and pay when arrive. Its also gone. Pay direct Its like several steps Down ladder When left we just Said does not matter with 10 euro depositum for the safe box. Because if you now need that money back you need to go their NARA Office. Before time you just gave key and all to Office in Patricio and they paid directly back Another thing also. Document now by paper. When arrive. Before it was digital with fingerprint Like we say. Many levels Down its no longer worth the Price Clean towels just 3 Times in 1 week

A clean, comfortable apartment in a quiet location that is only a 5 minute walk from the beach and bars and around the corner from the Cita shopping centre which has a reasonable Spar supermarket. Ideal for two people.

The hosts went out of their way to book us in early as we had an early flight...... We really appreciated it as we're tired from travelling

The apartments could do with some fresh paint on the walls..... But they were spotlessly clean and staff were lovely
