Sun Rocks Boutique Hotel

Staffs are nice and helpful. Room is big and comfortable, but the bathroom facility is a bit old. The overall environment and atmosphere is very good and relaxing. The pool side bar has very nice environment and the breakfast is delicious. The only con is about the staff who picked up calls for room service. He is not patient, and always urged us to quickly finish the order making.

Perfect location and absolutely beautiful view. Stayed in junior suite and the room was really nice. Only 15 walk to Fira which suited is perfectly as we wanted to stay outside of hustle and bustle of the main town. Good hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

We had the most amazing 4 night stay at Sun Rocks last week! The location is perfect, just a short walk to the busier Fira, but also plenty of great places to eat around the hotel should you not fancy the longer walk. I was amazed at how peaceful a built up area could be, but it was just incredible...the mornings were maybe more impressive than the famous sunsets! Staff at the hotel were as good as it gets, without making you feel waited on. And the breakfast and views were the highlight for me! I highly recommend Firostefani as an area for a balance of peace but also atmosphere, and it seemed to receive the most sun. And Sun Rocks is the place to stay if you choose this area!

Everything here was great, we felt well taken care off. A perfect time of year to visit and an oasis in the middle of Fira. We felt a million miles away from the madness of the cruise ships. A great vacation. And a good work out on all the steps. But never worry, because the staff carried our suitcases up and down for us. What a delight!

I think the best way to express how much we enjoyed our stay at Sun Rocks is to say that as soon as we got back, we started to plan our next visit! The hotel was exquisite. We booked the Experience Suite. #22 to be exact. There were sliding glass doors so you could open up the room to the most breathtaking view from an in room jetted tub. The accommodations were perfect. Room was cool, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was absolutely amazing. Margarita, Anastasios, Katerina and Fotis (and everyone else!) were so welcoming. They made sure that we were taken care of no matter what our needs. They gave us a cell phone so we could call for assistance when we were off property. They gave us recommendations about where to go and made arrangements for us to get there [they even told us where not to go! :)] Although we could have just stayed put! The food and drinks on property were amazing. Try the cucumber cocktail! We had the most magnificent (complimentary) breakfast in room daily. You can order anything you like from the menu and it arrives in a flash! Finally...the island itself was spectacular. People were coming to Sun Rocks after having been to other islands and saying...we wish we had just come here. One guy even called it heaven. There is much to explore. We rented an ATV, took a bus, walked. Everywhere we went we met kind people, had delicious food and saw a beautiful landscape. Our only complaint was that we had to leave. Book it!

The view from the hotel is breathtaking, the room was well furnished with everything you could need with own sun terrace. The staff were friendly and service was exemplary, highly recommended will be booking next year s visit soon!

The location is perfect! Just a 15 miniute walk to Fira but this is in a quiet and serene location which has the most stunning sunset view! The airport driver was so kind and helpful then drinks upon arrival had me at hello! We asked for Room 10 based on another review and they made it happen..... it was private and perfect! The food, cocktails, room, patio, view, music and EVERY detail was exceptional. Even the 200 stairs were spotlessly clean and good for us after all the good food! Have a cold cafe fredo and calamari made by the wonderful gentleman at the pool. Theodore made our time there special caring for our every need in a thoughtful, friendly and attentive way. Margarita's delightful energy was so fun and all the staff were lovely...Leo, Alex, Katrina, Fotis and many others whose warm smiles I remember but not names but deserve praise. They work hard and they provided the experience that will bring me back and have made me a raving fan of the hotel brand!

The only issue is the stairs, but it is a hotel you want to "stay in".
