The Old Post House B&B

Room was super clean and comfy, host was lovely and welcoming and helpful about the local area as well, best of all the Breakfast was delicious, healthy and substantial!

Wir waren im Juni 2026 in The Old Post House. Eine sehr saubere und gepflegte Unterkunft mit gutem, vegetarischen Frühstück. Das Zimmer war groß, die Gastgeber sehr freundlich!

This is a lovely B&B with great hosts. Stayed for three nights whilst walking the South West Coast Path. Double room ensuite was comfortable and quiet and breakfasts were high quality - available from 07.30 enabling an early start to the walking. Fiona provided lots of helpful information about the local area and amenities and the fascinating history of the former tin mining industry. Would also recommend St Just Cars for local taxis, who were always prompt and a great help in getting to where I needed to be on the walk.

We had a very relaxing 3 night stay in St. Just staying at the Old Post House. The B&B is located within easy walking distance of the centre of the village and also close to free parking. The breakfasts were very tasty and the room was very comfortable. We enjoyed chatting to the owners each morning, who gave us good suggestions for things to do each day. The area is beautiful and there are plenty of walks nearby.

Очень плотный завтрак (соки, чай/кофе, блюдо из яиц и каша - не на выбор, а для каждого постояльца). Хозяйка Фиона - отличный знаток истории и культуры Корнуолла; у неё можно спросить и про окрестные достопримечательности, и про логистику в регионе. Хозяин Доминик помог нам с планами на вечер: посоветовал пабы с вкусной едой и живой музыкой

Единственная рекомендация: посколько дом старинный, полы достаточно холодные. Было бы здорово, если бы постояльцам выдавались разовые тапочки.

Nice welcome from the hosts who helped me stow my bicycle securely in their shed. Peaceful location yet close to town centre. Charming time at breakfast with good company explaining all the local sights and treks.

Fiona is an absolutely lovely host - communication was excellent even before we arrived and she looked after us so well! From giving us cushions and blankets for our Minack visit, to the lovely breakfast that Dom cooks up, to giving us so many recommendations for things to do around St Just and in the greater Cornwall area in general - all of which were extremely well thought out. For us it's all about the attention to detail - she had even kept a folder in the desk of the room with a printed menu of each of the local eateries so guests can look and decide before they head out. I think that tells you everything about how much she cares :)

Well decorated and spacious room. Delightful hosts. Cooked breakfast.

The breakfast was beautiful. I chose the porridge and scrambled eggs,my food was of great quality and cooked perfectly. The produce used was of high quality. My coffee was great too. Also after a long days walk,it was wonderful to be able to soak in the deep bath,very restorative.
