Whitburn House Hotel

Ok for my very short stay , lady Sue was spot on, would stay again,

Room was really nice staff were amazing enjoyable sleep :) would revisit, changed the heater for a bigger one to help keep the room warm, big screen tv in the room n brilliant quality, didnt get the breakfast but would do next time :)

Stayed here for a few nights as I was in Preston to see The Lancashire Hotpots at the Guild Hall and decided to make a short holiday of it. Greeted with a warm friendly welcome on arrival, which was most appreciated as I got soaked getting to the hotel, was shown the lay out of the hotel and taken to my room. Nice and comfortable. I was a solo traveller, so plenty of space to move around. Television, tea and coffee making facilities, shared shower and toilet but there is a sink in your room if you need to brush your teeth or get a quick wash. Incredibly comfy bed. Every night I was there, it seemed that I closed my eyes and then woke up in time for breakfast. There are a few options for breakfast but I always settled for the full english and a coffee. Ideally on a main bus route and near to shops and pubs. If you fancy a walk it's about 20 minutes to the city centre. Great hotel at great value for money, hope to stay again next time I am in Preston.

Nice ,small ,clean and cheap Room was perfect for our over night stay . breakfast the following morning was nice . The owners were friendly as was their tiny dog 😁. Only negative was the window in our room wouldn't close completely so traffic could keep you awake . Would happily use this hotel again.

Had to visit Preston at a moments notice for a few days and this was reasonably priced for the nights I needed. Really helpful and friendly staff who can't do enough for you. My only issue was I slept through breakfast every day so I missed out on that but I guess that must mean the beds are comfy.

Clean, friendly and comfortable. All that is needed for a more than satisfactory kip away from home. modern and neat decor, great sized tv, plenty of milk on the side for tea (always a winner) Personally shown to my room by staff and reaccommodated swiftly to a downstairs and bigger room for my disabled grandmother, yet only charged a twin room price. Plenty off road parking and free WiFi. This hotel actively contributes to supporting a local homeless charity in Preston aswell Would absolutely choose to stay in this hotel again when visiting Preston

My brother attends The Rick n Roll club once a month down the Rd . At 9 pm he asked me find him somewhere. NEVER coukd I have expected such help . Lyn especially left is a key . Keot her mobile on for him . Explained everything my brother had a safe .very cosy cute nights sleep . Very very well looked after . As he was leaving in the morning, he was invited for a lively breakfast freshly cooked .hot with brews ....I am from tgis area origionally and I will be popping in for a night to see what he enjoyed sooo much . we were situated in the annex at the back of the hotel this was a lovely spacious room the beds were very comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean pleny of space for your luggage and we parked our car right next to the annex one small drawback which cant be helped is that is next to a busy road and the hospital and police station are close by so you do hear a lot of sirens but that is totally understandable

Cindy, Debbie and Lynn (hope I've spelt the names correctly!) couldn't have been more welcoming and nothing I asked for was too much trouble. The freshly cooked breakfast was done exactly as requested. The only downside was the shared shower and toilet for single rooms, but this is reflected in the price. I never had to wait to use the facilities, there was a basin in the room and the bedding was fresh. There was sufficient parking with access from Lorraine Avenue - put number 2 into the Sat Nav!

Rooms where lovely and clean and breakfast was great would 100% stay there again. Ladies where amazing very accomadating and welcoming thank you so much we all loved it. Can't ask for anymore for the great rate of price either.
