I travel frequently between New Jersey and Maine. I regularly look for a motel which is cost-efficient but clean. This experience was the best of my several stays this year in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. The Vernon Red Roof is located in a busy commercial area, with restaurants and bars nearby and easy to find. The room was clean; the floor had been washed. Everything met a high standard of cleanliness. I will try to stay there again on my next trip north.

Looks trashed. Mostly clean but found a small roach in the bathroom. Cracked tile and sink. Had to ask for different room as the first one reeked of cat pee, the window was open so they were well aware.

staff was pleasant. property wasnt kept, construction was messy, felt unsafe where they advised me to park.bedding had stains, floor wasnt clean. window didnt lock ..i could go on
