The Worthington Renaissance Fort Worth Hotel

We were looking forward to our stay, especially after reading so many positive reviews. Unfortunately, our experience turned out to be a major disappointment. First, we were not informed ahead of time that the entire hotel would undergo a four-hour power outage during our stay. This caused a huge disruption, as we had planned to work from the hotel and were unable to make alternative arrangements before checking in. Second, the noise level throughout the property was extremely high. The hotel sits on a busy street, and loud music continued well past midnight, again very disruptive situation given that we were traveling with small children. Because of these unexpected issues, we decided to check out early. However, despite explaining the situation to management and leaving the following morning, we were still charged for two nights. Our reservation was originally for four nights, and we had already paid in full. Although we accepted the two-night charge and just wanted to leave, the hotel has yet to adjust our payment or refund the remaining balance. The management have remained unresponsive when booking.com reached out to them several times and we are still trying to resolve this issue!

The staff was amazing. The location was amazing as well!

Room was not clean, dust everywhere, and the TV remote didn’t work as well.
