Sheraton Mission Valley San Diego Hotel

Staff was very very kind & helpful, honestly the best part about the hotel stay. Great location, comfortable beds & pillows, massive TV, great snack selection in the lobby.

Like everyone else, parking fees were CRAZYYYYY. $79 for two nights. They said it’s equivalent to other hotels in the area but everywhere else I’ve stayed in San Diego is around $15-$20 a night which feels more reasonable. The room was slightly dirty, there was a strand of black hair in the toilet and black long hairs in the shower. There was some weird drip going on next to the sink that looked like dried up something. The carpet throughout the whole room had weird things that looked dried up and crusty on it. I didn’t want to walk around without socks or shoes on. The fan also didn’t work in the bathroom and there was a fire alarm right outside of the bathroom so I was nervous opening the door after a shower. The room was on the side of the hotel facing the freeway and it was incredibly loud from all of the cars. The door on the side of the hotel that says it’s locked at all times wasn’t locked once, we never needed a key to get in to that door even at 10:30pm. Just a safety thing.

Good location - not very far from the airport and UCSD.

I did not like paying extra for the parking - $35/night. The staff was not very friendly. The bathroom was not clean.

I loved it . The receptionist asked if I wanted a more quiet room and I loved that
