Holiday Inn Express - Indiana by IHG

Not clean and facility had multiple need for upkeep.

The breakfast was nice and usually out early since I had to leave for work early. Most of the staff was professional.

Not very clean, had to change rooms 1st night there due to something soaking through my bed sheets from the bed. My room was only cleaned 1x the whole 2 weeks I was there and that was only because I asked for it to be cleaned. I had to go and request clean towels because they took my dirty ones but didn't leave clean ones, the trash cans outside were overflowing and most of the common areas didn't appear to be cleaned the whole time I was there. The area in front of the elevator on my floor was sticky all the time and the elevator was gross.

Key card was so dirty and sticky would barely come out of sleeve. When I showered som water got on floor and accidentally made dirty water on mat before I ever stepped in it Not very clean

The place was FILTHY.. elevator floors, our room was one big dust ball, soon as we walked in I saw layers of dust on the desk, shelves, bed post, lamps, dust balls all over the wall. The kitchen was disgusting… inside the fridge was so dirty and crumbs all inside of it, the counters were full of dirt, crumbs, dust. I couldn’t even take the food. The floors were also filthy. The people are at desk were NON exsistant! AND upon arrival we noticed the sheets were dirty/ STAINED, we asked for new sheets and had to put them on ourselves.

The property was very dirty both inside and outside. All of the floors from the entrance to our room were coated in dirt, the elevator had funk all over it and even the breakfast area was gross. Our room smelled like sweat and the bathroom had mold in it. It’s almost like they don’t have a professional cleaning service for the hotel.

Liked the location. Complimentary breakfast was good with plenty of options. Staff was pleasant.

Upon arriving at the hotel, we were told that there was a glitch and our room wasn't reserved, so they wanted to send us to a different hotel. The other hotel did not have a pool, so we were not having that as the pool amenity was the reason we chose this hotel. We booked a king room, which they didn't have available, so we ended up taking a double queen instead. The grounds were not well kept. Trash cans dirty and garbage around the outskirts could be seen outside the hotel. There were stains on the comforter and sheets in our room. You could tell that the shower had not been cleaned. The garbage can in the room was also filthy. The wall lamp in the room was hanging from the wall. The pool room was not clean. Used towels laying around and not stocked with clean ones. Pool had lots of paint chip around and in the pool. Chlorine smell was abnormally strong.

Gross. The floors were awful and the elevator was covered in funk. Even the breakfast area was awful. Our room smelled like sweat. Never again.

Overall experience was acceptable for a one night stay. The bed was clean and comfy which was most important. The bathroom shower was a bit moldy and the water was not hot.

Our room was not clean. There was hair all over the shower when we checked in. Front desk said there would be no cleaning services all weekend. Hotel was sold out along with everything in the area so we could not move rooms. Talked to two different front desk people and both just blew it off and said they would tell housekeeping about the complaint. Offered to do nothing else to make it right and never even apologized or acknowledged it as an issue. Had to stay in that room 2 nights. Will never use them again.
