Older hotel, but overall in good condition. Staff we encountered was friendly. Walking distance to French Quarter/shops/restuarants. We appreciated the complimentary breakfast/coffee. Things we did not like…we stayed 4 nights, housekeeping only came to clean Rm ONCE. I had to ask the front desk for more towels/empty trash. Area gets a bit sketchy at night. Valet is pricey at $48/night. However, Car isn’t needed unless you are going far out of the area. If we visit again, we’d just uber.

I'll start by saying that the location is very convenient although for safety, it gave me pause. My Tripit app rated this hotel's safety score location-wise as "average risk". This isn't a hotel flaw, it just is what it is. Upon check-in, I was not welcomed as I've come to expect at other Hilton properties (first words I heard were, "What's your name?"). Very dreary room but doable. The ice machine wasn't working on the breakfast floor so I had to go to another floor, and the dark roast coffee was empty by 8AM (twice). I will continue to stay at Hampton Inns when I travel elsewhere but if this place had been my first experience with the chain, I probably would stay elsewhere.

First time in New Orleans. The area where the hotel is was very convenient. Couple blocks north of bourbon Street. Everything within walking distance from hotel. Only problem was the amount of people just randomly loitering and standing around the hotel all hours of the day. Felt safety was not comfortable. Stayed in room 1412, this room had a small leak from the ac vent right at the door. Staff was approachable but manager was not friendly at all, made no eye contact or even acknowledged our presence. Breakfast was good, nothing too extra but great. We did not park but did notice parking was steep. Room was in great shape, clean and very spacious. Over all had a very good stay. Would recommend 9/10

Parking lot adjacent to hotel. Restaurants within a half of a block. Bourbon street within several blocks. Very quiet at hotels. Staff very nice. Will stay again.

1 block away from Bourbon st and 10 minutes walk to river walk, Ceasars palace and French quater.

Great convenient location close to french quarter and close to street car and bus routes.

I will recommend this location to others visiting the city.
