Hyatt Regency Deerfield

Excellent hospitality and facilities!

We loved our stay at the deerfield hyatt! The room was super spacious, and the staff were welcoming, helpful and kind! The kids liked the pool too, it was a good size for a hotel pool.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Deerfield for two nights. On the first night, after midnight when I went to bed, I discovered that the bed was not properly made, part of the mattress was left uncovered by the sheet, and there were hairs from previous guests on the exposed area. This issue was not visible when I first checked in, as the duvet had been neatly tucked in. However, when I went to bed, my feet came into contact with the uncovered portion of the mattress, which felt unhygienic and unpleasant. To give some context, I am 5'5", and in all my previous hotel stays I have never encountered a situation where the bed sheet can not fully cover the mattress. As it was already quite late, I chose not to request a room change and instead covered the area with a towel so I could sleep. For the second night, since I was leaving early at around 4 a.m., I stayed in the same room and continued using a towel to cover the part of the bed with other people's hair. Before my departure, I received a satisfaction survey text from the hotel and reported the issue. The front desk staff responded promptly and apologized, offering 2,500 bonus points as compensation. While I appreciate the staff’s kindness and prompt action, I feel that the points offered does not adequately reflect the discomfort and anxiety over hygiene that this incident caused.

Outstanding Hyatt Regency property that lives very solid choice for short or longer stays. Very well appointed rooms and amenities. Great location near I-94, I-294, and US 41; restaurants and shopping malls are nearby, excellent trained front desk and housekeeping staff, very well maintained, secure, and has free parking. Solid place to stay.
