The Hay - Adams

If you’re going to DC this hotel not only gives you easy access to the sights but is a historic monument itself which adds to the experience. The staff is next level in customer service & works hard to insure your comfort.

We enjoyed an excellent experience at the hotel. The room was spacious and very clean as was the bathroom. We had a lovely view from our room The staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. We would especially like to express our gratitude to Sean, the doorman, who on a very busy weekend made it easy for us to access both Ubers and taxis to get to the many events we needed to attend. My only recommendation would be that on Friday and Saturday evenings it would be optimum if the bar would extend service to midnight and that food service there would continue to at least 11 o’clock. However, the bar staff was very gracious in recommending Old Ebbitts Grill , a few blocks away, that would accommodate us.

What a magical night! We started off with drinks at Off The Record. The pear martinis were delicious! Araya took great care of us. Then we followed with dinner at The Lafayette. Everything there was perfect. With the chandeliers sparkling above us and the White House within view, the ambiance made for a luxurious setting that words cannot describe. Kenny, our server, was exceptional. A special note for the manager, Ignacio. He went above and beyond and made us feel like DC royalty. Thank you Hay -Adams for a memorable holiday evening!

Iconic historic Hay Adams hotel was perfect to celebrate our daughter's graduation from Geo Washington University in gracious style. Beautifully traditionally appointed rooms, top drawer staff & first rate elegant dining experience. Everything is an elevated experience & we felt well cared for.

The Hay Adams, Restaurant Lafayette was an exemplary dining experience. Ignacio Rabin and team went above and beyond providing remarkable service from the moment we entered the door to our last post dinner beverages. They all did an exceptional job and we will return every opportunity we can when we’re visiting from Texas. Just amazing!!

Luxurious DC hotel right across from the White House. First class service, deep carpets, real towels in the lavatories, yes folks, this is fine living. You must request a room with a WH view or you may be assigned on the other side; this place is so fancy you feel like you’re in an Embassy, it’s wonderful.
