"A wonderful place to stay "

We were within walking distance to old town! The staff was very nice and helpful! We loved the charm of the old building. It was beautiful and comfortable stay. Very expensive though so if your on a tight budget this isn’t the place to stay.

The Beau Rivage is elegant and the staff extremely efficient. Our room was very comfortable and useful for a small meeting. It was a junior suite and looked exactly like its photo. We saw a standard room which was quite small. The restaurant food was excellent. Everything we asked for quickly arrived - refreshments in the room, other items, taxi.

Superb staff, restaurants, amenities and location. Easy walk to all the highlights and staff is always there to assist. If you can afford a high end property this is the one to stay at.

"Poor reception service"

We made a dinner reservation on a french cuisine and double checked upon our check in and it was confirmed then on the time of dining was mentioned that the french hotel is closed on weekends and the reservation made was on their bar. Though was recommended with another fine restaurant and it went well but the professionalism showed was disappointing. On our checked out I was charged double and needed to call my bank. It took us an hour because they said that they haven't received my payment but as shown on my mobile bank it has been deducted and was charged twice. They call whoever and the money went straight back to my account yet my bank decline the payment as a protection so I needed to rush out just to withdraw some cash. Though the payment has already paid I still have have a pending amount of another 143 chf which they said has been transferred back already. Ending I need to monitor my bank wether it has been returned or not up to now. I had my fair share on 3-4 stars hotel in Geneva yet never experienced such a poor checking out.
