Hyatt Regency Lisle near Naperville

The picture makes the hotel look really nice, and it is mainly the lobby areas. The rooms while they are fine, they are outdated amenities. The hair dryer was old and not clean, there was no Bluetooth clock, the TV signal keep going out. The last 4hrs of my stay the TV didn't work. The hot water in the shower was not hot. It was a little past warm, and it didn't stay that way. It was getting cold. No microwave in the room only in the lobby by the computers. No ice machine on the floor I was on. Even tho the website says Ice Machines on each floor. Sunday, outside of paid breakfast ($18) no food available everything is closed. The best part was the size of the room and the Chromecast option(it wouldn't work).

When next day we asked to change the room & microwave they did it quickly

The rooms are very old & not upgraded all rusted everywhere, the shower even the bed sheets were ripped like no one does a check on this stuff.

Our 1st room 1204 had a broken bed frame upon check in. Our 2nd room 1103 had a leaking sprinkler head. We didn’t ask to be moved again because we had an event to get to and I was tired of lugging items from 11 floors up back to the lobby and back up again. The hot tub was permanently closed and not working and that was not noted anywhere online. The “breakfast buffet” was lack luster considering the price that you pay. No bacon, no French toast or pancakes, 1 type of potato & eggs and waffles with a sad looking piece of ham was all you could get with substance. The room across from ours had paint splattered all over the door and looked like it was left mid renovation and you could see it from the outside. The bed descriptions online need to be updated to state “room includes 2 twin beds and 1 pull out couch” no way would 2 small adults been able to sleep in one of those “double beds”. Because of this the pull out couches are clearly getting more use than average and the mattresses are disgusting and need replaced. There were areas of the hotel that had roof leaks that were blocked off in the main lobby and it appears that you photographed a few of the “Good Parts”. For a hotel with the Hyatt name one would have expected a little better condition even though it is near the Airport it should still be maintained. I could have stayed at the Holiday Inn or Comfort Inn and had a better breakfast and accommodations. Also, when I went down to grab an evening snack since there was no room service there was an obviously tired guest who had just checked in and had to come all the way back down with all her stuff because the room they had given her was ALREADY occupied 😳….

Cons: hotel is pretty old. hall way has strong smell. there was dirty towel in the bathroom. no breakfast offered Pros: i booked it because it offer 3000 points per night location is not too bad staffs are helpful. only problem was the requested bedding delivered after more than 1 hour. has to go down to the front desk to ask. the phone was not really working in the room.

Front desk staff and hotel driver were all wonderful. Room was a good size and clean. Plenty of hot water for the whole family. Pool was clean and warm. Great location dunkin doughnuts walking distance.
