The hotel is screaming for a remodeling, needs new pillows, mattress, covers.

The hotel could use a facelift. Outdated carpeting and decor. The air conditioner/heating unit was noisy and could use some maintenance. The staff, including the front desk and bar/restaurant were friendly, helpful and accommodating . The hotel location was really nice and convenient. Overall, I will give it another look and stay there again in the near future.

I'm sorry to say this because the man at the front desk was nice, but that's where any nicety stopped. The hotel was dated and dirty. Our tub had literal dirt in it and the floors looked like they were not cleaned at all. The toilets were hard to flush and sometimes the paper went down, and sometimes it didn't. If we could have found another hotel with vacancy, we would have left and not cared that we spent almost $300 on each room. We had two rooms and they were both the same in terms of cleanliness. It was the worst Marriott that I've ever stayed at and I travel a lot.

Stayed here for a night visiting some family in the area. Booked it for the central location and assumed since it was in a popular college area it's certainly a popular hotel and was expecting much more. Everyone was nice but oh it's time for an update across the hotel. The pool is very disappointing. It has not been updated since 1985. The liner is yellow, the tiles are so old, cracked and slippery. The hot tub is out of order. The grounds in the back didn't look kept up. The elevators are ancient! The hallway wallpaper was falling off and all ripped, stained carpets, throughout the hallway and our room. Our couch had a filthy stain on it. Comfy beds, but I'd stay at a newer hotel if you're in the area. This has been the third Marriott i've recently stayed at that was disappointing!!

Don’t stay here. The front desk staff tried to be accommodating when the first room was not clean in time for our arrival It was later in the evening so the room should have been ready for guests but when we went in there the table tops were dirty and sticky clearly someone had spilled something on the desk and it was never cleaned. We got moved to another room upon request . This room appeared clean at first but when I went into the bathroom there were hairs on the floor from the previous guests. Gross. I also found two bugs in the bathroom. There was a vent in the bathroom that looked old and dirty that’s probably where the bugs were coming in from… and the doorway to the bathroom had rusted out on the bottom. Unsafe. It was late by that time so I didn’t ask for another room change but I was really uncomfortable in the room and didn’t sleep well at all thinking there are probably more insects in this room I didn’t dare use the bedding. At checkout I told front desk and they apologized for everything and gave me a small credit to my account ( that equaled $50) I would never ever stay here or go to this area again The whole place had a bad vibe and unfortunately almost ruined my whole weekend the only saving grace was it was sort of close to a beach area and we found a nice restaurant about 10 minutes away

This property is not worth the Marriott name. The property has not been kept up. The beds were not comfortable, and linens were worn. The shower liner was covered with mold. They did not enter, clean or make up our room the three nights we stayed. In fact, they moved us the first night because the first room was not done. They ran out of coffee for all the rooms. I even got trapped in the elevator and had to call the front desk to get me out. I realized the property was sold recently but that is not an excuse.
