Friendly helpful, cheerful staff. Ansel, the manager was very helpful at all times including arranging private transfer boat from Lombok. Air conditioning worked well. Lovely outdoor shower. Beautifully maintained garden. Excellent snorkelling off the beach in front.

Pool water was like a bath - too hot. A sailcloth might make it more refreshing and usable. The WIFI was terrible everywhere. Very poor speed.

Bambu cottages is a well designed space with 11 cottages, beautiful clean pool, well maintained garden area, it's own restaurant/ bar with beach front. When the evening comes, it's even prettier with all the lights on. I believe the location is perfect, but I do prefer it due to the east aspect. It's easy to hire a bike for 5000 IDR per day and get around. Staff is wonderful. I had my birthday during my stay and I received a little song and cake surprise which was lovely. It's not the cheapest considering what you can find on this island however it just comes down to small preferences in the end.

Soundproofing. Being bamboo, you will need earplugs for a variety of reasons. For me it was the A/C generator going all through the night of the neighbouring hut. Literally 2 meters from my head so sleeping was an issue. Music. I am all for all sorts including tribal house but it has to make sense. Not everyone coming to a small island wants loud music at 8am. The other issue is, all neighbouring businesses play whatever they want so at times, you are hearing 3 different playlists whilst trying to read your book or just chill. I imagine everyone is trying to attract business, so I get it, but can be a challenge. Overall, it's a beautiful space.

Alles die Lage ist super , alle Angestellten super nett und hilfsbereit sie erfüllen einem jeden Wunsch den man äußert. Wichtig sie sind nicht aufdringlich. Wasser super klar und am besten die Begegnungen mit den Roesen Schildkröten.

Es gibt nichts zum Aussetzen.

My room was next door to a shop or another business & they smoked so I could smell that & they would make some noise.
