Ease of getting in and out. bed was very comfy.

The hotel exterior and lobby are clean and well maintained. The hotel is convenient to I-77 in VA and is a good stopping point for trips from Upstate NY to FL. I would recommend passing on this hotel and instead choose another Hilton Hotel, there are a few within the next couple exits on I-77. Here are the specifics on this hotel. The high/low fan on the air conditioner did not function. We had to turn the unit down to the low 60s so the fan (and white noise) would stay on. The telephone in the room was for show; there was no cord attaching it to the wall jack. I walked down to the front desk to see if there was something we could do and the associate took down the room number and said she'd stop-up once she finished helping the customer (who was also experiencing an issue). She said we could wait a while to see if the unit came on, and if not I should call down. Obviously she wasn't paying attention since our room phone did not work. The associate never came to our room. I told the desk associate the next morning and he said he was sorry to hear about the issue. We wanted a quick bite to eat in the morning but unfortunately the associate who prepares breakfast at this Hilton did not show for work. A huge opportunity for the Hilton team to improve their execution on the basics.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was clean. There was a nice patio to sit and enjoy some sunshine and read a little. The breakfast was ok. They offered limited options for gluten free guests. The coffee was good.

It's probably my fault but I didn't realize there was no coffee maker or microwave. The room was smaller than we are used to, but we were ok with it.

It was modern and clean.

Shower needed cracks filled. The bathroom shelf was in a better location in the other location where we stayed. TV tripped a circuit. Luckily the front desk person fixed it immediately after we called her.

I reached out to the manager but never heard anything back. It was horrible—the lights in my room weren’t working, and the shower only had cold water, no hot water. The next morning, within an hour, three staff members tried to open my door while I was taking a shower. It was absolutely horrible.

Amazing stay! Clean rooms, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere. Everything was smooth and stress-free. Highly recommend and would stay here again!

5/5 We stayed at this Tru last September for 3 weeks. Our room was great, once switched to the double room (more sq ft). The only room complaint would be no sitting area, but I was able to utilize the outdoor seating, and couches and lounge areas in the lobby. We were on the 4th floor, and I must say my 2 main housekeepers were AWESOME! Wish I had gotten their names to recognize them; they both had long black hair. The front desk was always accommodating to us, especially Doug. I hope that we come back to visit soon.
