The Barn Courtyard

Excellent again, we were return visitors. The meal in The Horse was outstanding and the breakfast excellent. The location was great for us visiting the area.

Nothing not to like.

The accommodation is very comfortable and perfect for our few days stay. The breakfast is delicious as is the food in general 😋 and the staff are very friendly and will help with all reasonable requests. Its location was originally the first choice, but we've stayed there several times and will continue to when visiting the area.

The bedrooms were lovely, very clean and fresh. It was the perfect stay but what was most outstanding was the food at this property! We booked for dinner for ease as we had been travelling all day but we were blown away by the incredible food served in this gorgeous cosy pub! The care and thought that had gone into the menu, flavours, presentation was stunning! This pub is a real gem!

It was different but really good 👍 There's a big carpark, on one end is a pub where you sign in and they do a fantastic english breakfast in the morning and at the other end of the carpark is The barn courtyard building which is very nice 😀

Stayed here many times for work and also had a good stay. The food in the restaurant is exceptional and staff always happy to help. Will continue to come back.

A Nice friendly place. The accommodation has all that is needed for a great stay and the staff in the Pub are friendly and helpful. Also the food and breakfast is lovely.

When we arrived, the car park was being set up for a music event, which we had no prior knowledge of. It wasn't mentioned at check in, do my husband asked, and was told by another customer that it was a live band/singer from 3 til 8pm. When we returned to the accommodation at 8.30pm, there was loud dance music with a dj in the car park directly outside our room. This dif not finish until approx 10.15pm. Had we been notified prior, we could have made alternative accommodation arrangements, or at least stayed away until later when it finished. We were disappointed that payment was taken 2 days prior to arrival, at which point we had no knowledge of the event. Owners were not around the following morning to speak to, and have not responded to written feedback sent via Booking.com
