Fantastic location, beautiful beach walking and wildlife viewing. Very comfortable suites.

Jane is a great hostess. Great location to see various Catlins sights. Very close to Owaka which is one of few places in the Catlins that has a grocery store. A nice breakfast was provided. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking. Hot plate, microwave, air fryer and electric frying pan. Comfortable bed and both inside and outside sitting areas.

Jane was really helpful. The cottage had everything we needed, including a welcome book that was full of information on the local area.

Das Häuschen ist schlicht und einfach, aber sehr gemütlich und sauber. Das Bett ist richtig bequem – man fühlt sich sofort wohl und möchte am liebsten gar nicht mehr weg. Die Lage könnte kaum besser sein: direkt an der Surat Bay, nur etwa 500 m zu den Seelöwen am Strand, und die Catlins mit all ihren Naturschönheiten liegen direkt vor der Tür. Außerdem ist Owaka nur 4 km entfernt – mit Supermarkt, Tankstelle und Ärztehaus, was den Aufenthalt sehr praktisch macht. Dazu kommt eine unkomplizierte und authentische Vermieterin. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Da es sich um ein Doppelhäuschen handelt, können Geräusche von Nachbarn hörbar sein, falls diese laut sind. Insgesamt überwiegen die positiven Seiten aber bei weitem.
