Beth-Shalom

Do not expect too much and you won't be disappointed. This hotel is truly simple, from the rooms to the breakfast. The receptionist could not be nicer, and the coffee/tea and delicious cake in the lobby is an excellent touch.

I love this place for so many reasons! The price is exceptional, the staff very warm and personal, small and quiet, lobby provides newspaper, hot drinks, and pastry. Breakfast is plentiful, outdoor garden is delightful, ping pong table, sitting area downstairs is spacious if you want to get out of your room. Location is fabulous. This is by far the loveliest place I've stayed in Haifa for the price. Hope to come back!

We spent one night at the Beth Shalom Hotel and altogether it was a positive experience. Clean rooms, quite comfortable beds and a decent breakfast. The location is great for visiting Bahai gardens and the metro to the city centre as well as some bus lines are in walking distance.

A small, quiet hotel close to the top of the Baha'i Gardens. Our room was very clean and seemed newly renovated with a good bed, table & chairs, and a small fridge - although strictly no eating in the room. There was a nice big room at ground level at the back, with an outdoor area, for the buffet breakfast though - the food was good but not a lot of selection. The bed linens were also very clean, but well-worn - not high quality. The room smelt musty though. It had a good openable window that helped but it struck us each time we entered.

Great location in Carmel area of Haifa. Within walking distance of shops, restaurants, Japanese Museum. 15-20 min walk to Bahai Gardens. Very clean. Staff very kind and extremely helpful. Excellent price. Free (but squished) parking. Breakfast was very mediocre. Room was adequate but somewhat small. Austere, bare-bones hotel. Great deal, in an expensive city.

Very reasonably priced and across the street from the Dan Panorama. Rooms are small but adequate. Nice bathroom and shower. Basic Israeli breakfast daily with scrambled eggs, fresh fruits and vegetables, juices and coffee/tea. Would probably get tired of just eggs if there more than a few days. Easy walk to top of Baha'i gardens. Lots of city buses nearby. Staff was very nice and helpful.

We were in Haifa for just three days... we arrived by cruise ship, and spent two nights at Beth Shalom. We stayed here six years ago while on Baha'i Pilgrimage, and the place has not changed: still a peaceful place, very courteous staff, clean spacious room, and hearty breakfast served each morning. Bus stops just outside the door, and there are shops and restaurants within easy walking distance.
