If you like historic sites and staying at an eloquent, stately home, you will want to stay here. The cook/manager is very accommodating, amicable and responsive. Loved our stay here!

The property was beautiful. It had so much southern charm. The rooms were very comfortable. Everything you needed was supplied for you. We spent time out on the porch, it was so peaceful. Landon was such a gracious host and a pretty good cook too. Really enjoyed talking to him about the history of the Peacock Place. I plan on making a return trip. If you have the opportunity, make plans to visit the Peacock Place. You won't be disappointed.

A lot of TLC has gone into restoration and decor of this LOVELY home. It is extremely clean, the bathroom outfitted with toiletries, a blow-dryer, plush towels, and an air vent. The common areas are comfortable and inviting, the air conditioner works great, the host is personable and responsive, and breakfast (crispy bacon, fresh eggs, pancakes!) served in one of two lovely dining rooms was delicious. The front and rear porches just beg to be enjoyed, and the pool was a welcome relief in the July heat. Hotel options in Eastman are a bit limited, so Peacock Place was the perfect alternative, and so affordable. If your party is large, additional accommodations are at the Sinha Manor, just next door. Please note, both Peacock and Sinha are antebellum homes, so king-size beds are not feasible in the smallish size bedrooms.
