The location of the hotel is great. I mean anywhere on this stunning island would be fab but you could walk into the rainforest easily, you are next to the turtle sanctuary and there is a small strip of local shops you can walk to easily. The gardens in the hotel were lovely and the local wildlife that come to visit is amazing. The beach is stunning and the local trips are fantastic. We did coral beach snorkelling- awesome

The hotel could definitely have been cleaner. The staff were mediocre. Breakfast was good, dinner wasn't great.The bathrooms are wet rooms but nothing in the room to help drain the water away when you are finished ( like a squeege)

Très bon restaurant. Bonne literie, la chambre est simple mais confortable. Ouvrir sa porte et se trouver face a la plage et la mer est le vrai luxe. La gentillesse du personnel!

The food and everything

Mosquitoes around my room. I got dozen bites each time coming back and out of the room. 😭

Great location of the hotel but the bungalow was just OK. It was a little outdated and definitely needs some improvements, such as fresh paint on the walls, a renovated bathroom, or simply cleaner windows. The hotel staff were extremely helpful, and the food in the restaurant was very good. The chicken sambal and nasi goreng were absolutely top-notch. The only thing I would suggest is replacing the fish burger, which was absolutely inedible. Breakfast was really good especially curry and rotii.

Unfortunately, the biggest problem for us was the sand flies on the beach. Their bites were absolutely terrible—much worse than mosquito bites. We brought a very strong DEET-based repellent with us, but it didn't seem to bother the sand flies at all. :)

The generator noise for the neiboring hotel

The beach is directly opposite of the hotel which is very convenient if you’re planning to just chill by the beach or do some beach activities

Directly at great beach, nice areas to snorkel nearby. Good airconditioning and comfortable bed.

Loud generator running all night (less noisy at beach bungalows, very noisy at restaurant), food average with small portion size and overpriced (compared to nearby restaurants). Lots of mosquitos (we have never gotten so many mosquito bites in our life, despite repellent - ensure you use strong one).

Probably the best place to stay in Juara, the location is beautiful, the cabins are comfortable and pretty and the restaurant and food are good. The owners made the smart decision to preserve some of the raw nature around the cabin which makes the hotel feel in balance with the setting.

Some nights we had a very loud sound from the generator (?) of the neighbor hotel. It lasted several hours in the night and it made very difficult to relax. Although is not the fault the hotel itself I think something should be done, like offer earplugs or reinforcing the walls of the cabins or put more plants... Also, for the price you would expect daily room service (just cleaning would be enough).
