View was incredible. After a hot busy day in the city it was amazing to retreat to the quiet hills.

Room had a beautiful view and that’s the only highlight. Check in was “difficult” and took a long time - not ideal when you’ve travelled a long way and just want to put your feet up Food - average at best and not much choice Room - needs a refresh and a mouldy bathroom needs some tlc The manager was apologetic, but then didn’t stop apologising everytime I saw him. This place is a good 20mins out of town, so once you’re here, you’re here. Other reviews also best sum this place up

No complaints of any kind

We had a one night stay at the Mount Blue Kandy. Positives were the very helpful and friendly staff, great views and large rooms. Area for improvement would be fixing the details such as lack of cloth hooks in the bathroom. Other challenge is the very narrow road up to the hotel.

Wat een heerlijk verblijf was dit! We hadden 2 kamers geboekt. De kamers hadden prachtig uitzicht over het dal en bergen. De bedden lagen heerlijk. Alles in de kamer was brandschoon. De douche was heerlijk. Het ontbijt was het beste wat we hebben gehad tot nu toe deze reis. Khan was zeer vriendelijk en wilde dat het je aan niks ontbrak. We hadden nog veel over van het ontbijt en konden dit meenemen als lunch voor onze autorit. Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en wilde je met alles helpen. Met pick me was het soms lastig om een tuktuk te regelen, omdat het hotel wat hoog in de bergen ligt. Maar het personeel wil met liefde vervoer voor je regelen. Het zwembad is heerlijk om af te koelen.

Very friendly staff. lovely room with nice bath tub, great views from both the bath tub and room. breakfast was yummy with a decent selection all in all i think the staff made the stay enjoyable

Firstly there are a lot of mosquitos and flies, especially at the entrance while checking in. Some seem to have followed into our room and flies were also at breakfast. We were lucky that not many people seemed to be staying on our floor but we did hear loud noises when others closed their doors or talked. Whether it is thin walls or doors with gaps at the floor, noise was a bit of an issue. We were too busy to go into the pool but the water was very cold when we touched it. Location may be an issue for others as it is up on the hill/mountain and you have to go up a narrow road. Which meant we culd not walk around and there was not much in the neighbourhood. Wifi avaialble but weak reception in certain areas of our room
