Mount Blue Kandy

The absolute plus of this hotel is the view, from all rooms, the pool and the restaurant. The hotel itself is fine, all be it a little bit overpriced. There a re lot of 'extra's' but it would be good if the hotel should focus more on the essentials.

This is a funny hotel. There is a lot of staff who do their very best to be very polite and formal, up to the point that you would say: ease up people. However, at the same time, they put dirty teacups on the table while not even noticing it themselves. The breakfast was the least we had in all of Sri Lanka. It seems that the hotel should focus first on getting the essentials right

Las vistas desde la habitación increíbles. Todo muy limpio y cuidado al detalle. El personal muy atento nos ayudaron en todo.

Algo retirado y algunos tuk tuk locales tenían algún problema para encontrar el hotel.

Lontano dal centro di Kandy ma veduta stupenda. La piscina è super per rinfrescarsi dalla calura e per ammirare il panorama. Camera pulita e colazione a buffet abbondante e buona.

Die Zimmer sind groß und sauber, man hat viel Platz. Auch der Pool ist schön und hat eine angenehme Temperatur, die Aussicht ist toll. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist sehr freundlich.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Unterkünften passt Preis Leistung nicht wirklich. Der Service im Restuarant ist zwar bemüht aber schafft nicht viel zum Beispiel beim Frühstück: Teller, Tassen und Milch sind aufgebraucht und bei vielen Tischen fehlt Besteck. Anstatt dies nachzufüllen wird während der Frühstückszeit der Buffetboden nass gewischt. Isst man zu Abends im Restaurant stehen einige Speisen nicht zu Verfügung, was einem aber erst gesagt wird wenn man bestellen will und dann muss man sich wieder umentscheiden, anstatt im Vorhinein zu sagen diese Mahlzeiten gibt es heute nicht. Service läuft mühsam und zäh. Essen ist generell im Vergleich teurer als in Restaurants.

We lost our hotel key card, and the hotel charged us a 5,000 rupee fine , which caused us some discomfort

sehr sauberes Hotel, etwas gehobener. Die Zimmer sind super mit einem herlichen Ausblick. sehr ruhige Lage, man hört nichts!
