The Townhouse Hotel does not have a elevator, so the higher floors are accessible by stairs only (2 flights to the first floor and 2 flights to the second floor). "Not great tbh - the night porter was lovely very friendly but that was about it tbh"

The location is great

No one was on reception to check me in, I stood and waited for ages. No one offered to carry my cases up especially considering the narrow and steep stairs. The bed was very small.

Location,free parking, friendly staff and very clean large room. No need for taxis. Bar/night club was good.

All good. Was some late night noise outside from people get taxis, but we expected that as the hotel has a bar/club disco.

"The room was clean, but the restricted space and inefficient TV and noise did not result in an enjoyable stay."

The Royal is central to the town

The room was a very small garret with low head height on the second floor with no lift. Very small single hard bed. No chair. TV gave a poor reception with only two working channels. Toilet seat loose. The noise from the nightclub was also very intrusive. Poor value for the cost incurred.
