The Townhouse Hotel does not have a elevator, so the higher floors are accessible by stairs only (2 flights to the first floor and 2 flights to the second floor). The resteraunt and staff were good

The rooms are very basic, really uncomfortable like laying on floor ( probably comfier), cold , heating is fixed and can't be changed, single glazed so can hear noise all night. Doors don't automatically lock like most places. Very poor on plug sockets

"Ok, but unless you’re a very heavy sleeper I’d avoid,"

Just a place to stay. The bath with jest was nice.

Sash windows, which didn’t block the outside noise at all (Saturday night). Very load drunken crowds until 1am, with heavy traffic and horns blazing, interspersed with emergency vehicle sirens. Absolutely avoid any rooms on the main road side.
