The Lowenac Hotel

The inside of the hotel was beautifully decorated and clean, all employees we met were friendly and helpful. The room was wonderfully decorated, especially loved the bathroom. Everything was very clean and tidy inside, however the outside was a bit disappointing and gives an impression opposite to the inside and the actual stay. Could do with a lick of paint and tidy up the front, the side parking and the garden area. Otherwise was a wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone.

Hotel was tired looking for the outside but very smart on the inside.huge room.good bathroom,could do with a few more sockets. For charging phones/laptops.overall pleasant stay.

From checking in the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was wonderful. They were having a renovation at the time of our holiday, but it was no issue at all, and didnt affect our stay. The location was perfect for us as it had local conveniences and restaurants. It is also situated not too far from St Ives and Newquay beach. Would definitely stay again.

Nice Hotel in a good position for exploring Cornwall, It looks like a lot of money has been spent on the Hotel , the room I stayed in was really nice , excellent bathroom, large Television, comfortable bed. There was plenty of on site parking space ,

Needs a good update, rooms had been updated but not to a good standard….the whole place just needs some love and attention. We probably wouldn’t stay here again unless improvements were made.

The hotel needs a upgrade. Cleanliness is bellow standards and the room had strange odour as well as the rest of the building. The only thing that was positive is that the linen looked clean and smelled fresh, but everything else from the mould in the room, to the mould in the shower as well as the used preservative under the bed and used tissue by the window were a pure disappointment! I am very unlikely to book this hotel again and Expedia should take it off their list!

Very well run hotel with friendly and very helpful staff. Plenty of parking and easy access to all local routes for sight-seeing and adventures. Five minute walk to train station for anyone wishing to travel by train. Hotel is currently being extended and modernized but this did not affect our comfort at all. Room (located on the front was east-facing and very warm in the morning when sun rose through large window. Room stayed warm all day and would be 'uncomfortable' at night on a very warm day. Breakfast was superb but we only ate once. Would recommend and considering a return visit.

Hotel was spotless, friendly welcome nothing too much trouble breakfast was very nice, can’t fault it. Would definitely stay there again. Price very reasonable.
