Room key on phone didn’t work. They were completely closed the first two days of our stay.
This place is beautiful and the owner is so friendly! We really enjoy the location and will definitely be back. Would appreciate disposable cups for water on the vanity. And no big deal but there were two bugs in our shower and not sure how they got in there. We took care of it so it wasn’t a big deal but may want to figure out where they got in from.

The property was lovely, and just off the beaten path of the main road.
Very clean. First night check-in we had to call for check-in instructions. Second day no housekeeping, they evidently simply forgot. At check out manager merely apologized with I'm sorry about that. No coffee maker in room, although advertised that way.
Amazing location, short walk to all things in Sister Bay. The electronic locks on the doors are very frustrating. You have to download an app on your phone to use as your key. Every time I tried to get into my room it took at least 15 tries at 20 seconds a piece. There is no staff onsite, hence the phone key. I didn’t even see a staff member until our last day there. The room was clean, very basic and not well lit. Not a room that you would spend any time in, there isn’t even a table in the room, but luckily you don’t want to spend time in your room when in Door County!
It was a great location for walking to town. However, the room was very basic and stark. No pictures on the walls and the lighting was provided by 2 small bedside lights. If you were sitting on the sofa trying to read, it would e very difficult due to lack of lighting. The description of the room listed a coffeemaker but there wasn’t one in the room. The manager went off duty shortly after we checked in so we weren’t able to contact him.
Great location in Sister Bay walkable to so much, wonderful customer service, rooms and design. Bonus there's a coffee shop on site with food as well. It shows the owner and his family work so hard. One improvement is to provide clear and separate recycling vs garbage in common areas to support your green lodging commitment.
USHad a reservation and PREPAID for a three night get away...almost a week out, a COVID exposure; not only can we no longer make the trip, but the owner will charge me for a nights stay! Prime time in Door County - so they will 100% rent the room again and pocket my $300...PLUS - I had made a donation to the Ukrainian Refugees on their FB page!! Think twice before reserving here!!
Very cute hotel. Room was spacious and modern. It is just down the street from the beach and main drag for Sister Bay. Free coffee well!
