The Dark Horse Pub

It warm and clean and satisfactory for one night stay

Needed ear plugs to sleep as the working bat was below my room until 2am. Only one light working in the bathroom!

Nice room, decent value & relatively close to city centre

Bear in mind that this is a room above a pub so you are likely to have noise downstairs until closing time. No problem for me but others may not like it

Quirky, reasonable price, local free parking near by, location not to far from document where we were going. Loads of tea/coffee/biscuits. The towels were the biggest fluffiest towels I've had in a hotel

The room was great . I was able to buy takeaway food locally and eat in the bar.

WiFi is dreadful, also no phone service on 3.

Only stayed one night but the bed was super comfortable and just a cozy little place. And very welcoming

The WiFi didnt seem to connect but that's probably a problem with my phone but no complaints

The pub itself was really very nice, very clean and welcoming. Worth the money. The bed and lining were very cozy. The the team were also incredibly friendly and helpful.
