Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Uptown Fredericton by IHG

Location and showing a bit of age at this point. We have stayed here every year since IHG.

Back outside used to. E sitting area with gazebo. Now junk! Loud AC!

I would definitely stay here again. It was quiet, well maintained, and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was showing its age slightly, but that's to be expected. The only thing I didn't like was the parking lot. Getting close to the main door was almost impossible, due to its small amount of parking places. I usually had to park in the back, a fair way from the main door, in a not particularly well lit area.

The breakfast is always good and close to all restaurants and stores.

I found this time the stairwells were quite dirty. Also, when entering from the side door, the bottom of the frame was broken and steel was sticking out. Very dangerous.

Good comfortable hotel

The hotel is very dated. The staff seemed overwhelmed due to a new computer software system being implemented. The room was very tight on space. I would not stay there again.

It just wasn't worth a $270 stay. Hair in bathtub. Tvs weren't working. Room phone didn't work to call front desk. I tried calling multiple times and couldn't get through to anyone.

The hotel is in need of an update. The rooms are dated. Showers are slow. It seems like an electrical company is using the hotel to host their employees which may create a disturbance to other guests with the trucks in and out of the parking lot. The highway noise doesn't help when the walls are paper thin. Cleanliness was well conducted despite the age of the hotel.
