Disappointing Experience Despite Friendly Staff What started as a romantic weekend with my wife turned into a bit of a disappointment. We've used Booking.com on numerous occasions without any issues, but this time was different. Upon arrival, the reception was unaware of our booking, though they confirmed it after some calls. The staff were always very helpful and friendly, which we appreciated. However, we were informed that the pool was under construction—a crucial detail that should have been communicated at the booking stage, as it would have influenced our decision. We enjoy lounging at the pool very much as part of our experience. Apart from the pool, the game drives were the only activity available. The tents were okay for accommodation, but there was no view, and everything was much more dated than the pictures advertised. The towels were old, and we found a scorpion and a scorpion spider in our room behind the cushions on the chair, raising concerns about the thoroughness of the cleaning. The food was basic, and the decor and plastic chairs were dated. The lounge area was somewhat open, but the furniture was old and dirty, making us reluctant to sit on it. While the game drives were great and the staff were excellent, the overall impression provided by the brochure was misleading. Additionally, with the pool area under construction, we had to endure the noise of a chainsaw close to our tent, which was the furthest from the other tents. Maintenance should be scheduled while guests are on game drives, or the lodge should be closed for a week. I would not recommend Booking.com after this experience and will definitely do more homework in the future. I feel like I let my wife down and could have done much better with my money to give her the relaxing treat we were after. The facilities not up to standard I would expect some kind of refund.

It's a cool location in the national park, where you sleep in a tent, hearing nature all night. The tents and facilities offer plenty of space. It was a very cool experience. The drives were very nice, we saw lots of animals.

The breakfast was always the same and also for lunch and dinner the choices were limited. Drinks you have to pay extra, but you do not find a single menu to check what it costs. Something not easy to avoid: You're in the middle of nature, hence the bugs and geckos will find their way into the tent. And geckos leave their dirt on the walls and floors. While I loved having made the experience to sleep in nature, it didn't make me feel very comfortable.

Unique elephant and lion sightings. Wonderful bird life.

Scrub taking over the grassland areas. Low number of grazers. Miss the rhino 😢

Library disappointing Needs new books & games . New sofa lots of staining . New table clothes. Could be much smarter with small touches. Tents were excellent. Needs touches when walking back at night. Driver could have given out more information on the small things.
