Bentinck Apartments

Large living space, comfy beds, nice bathroom. Towels and toiletries provided. Nicely decorated. Location is good, short distance from town.

It was chilly on arrival, but heating is effective. No wine glasses. The amount of personal ID info required felt a little uncomfortable (photo of drivers licence, selfie etc).

Central location, clean, good amenities

Bed was just two single beds pushed together and not the most comfortable for a couple. Not a big deal though for a short stay. Otherwise very good

The space and the heating for this time of the year was perfect. The bed were big and comfortable.

The hotel is easy to find and well located near bus stops, with a small ASDA supermarket a few minutes walk away, and restaurants nearby. The apartment was clean and it was easy to adjust the temperature to a comfortable level using the heaters in both the living room area and bedroom. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking - a good size fridge with a freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, microwave, hob and over, with cookware and crockery, as well as cleaning supplies provided. The bathroom was compact, but clean and had everything needed. I found the room to be quiet and was not disturbed whilst sleeping, although there was heavy machinery being operated on the next door lot both mornings, that was rather out of the hotel's control!

I found the bed to be very firm and composed of two single beds pushed together; it would have benefitted from a mattress pad or at least a cover to both soften the mattress and conceal the seam between the two beds. I was surprised to see the sheet simply on top of the bare mattress, without any additional protection.

Great location, 10mins away from the centre. Had no problem parking off street. The apartment was clean, modern, with a full kitchen and nice bathroom.

Our apartment was located at the very top of the property, we only had overnight luggage so it wasn’t a problem but anything bigger would have been a struggle.
