Altstadt Hotel Bräu Wirt

This hotel is in the heart of the old city and in a vers hold building but everything is modern and rooms are incredible, very large, clean ... Good German breakfast. Employees very helpful and smiling. Give the envy to come back.

I've never been here myself, I only book this hotel for our guests several times a year and they are so satisfied that they insist upon booking this hotel each time. The reservation desk is very helpful during the telephone call and I guess it is the same for the guests. Last year, one of our guests forgot some items in the safe as he checked out and as he realized it and I called the hotel, the room was already occupied by other guests but the reception staff was so kind and competent that they called me after a couple of days and gave me the forgotten items. A free parking space in the city center (even if it's Weiden) is a huge advantage. The location is excellent and the hotel is new and well maintained. Really recommendable

The hotel is very nice inside and outside, surrounded by a beautiful, old city center. The building itself is rather huge and unique. The hotel part has nice, big, comfortable rooms.The breakfast is served in the restaurant side (what a surprise:-)) of the building in a nice room with nice tree (or beam?) on the ceiling. Pretty German girl in nice dress is also enclosed :-) The breakfast is "as usual" in Germany. Everything is fresh and delicious. Especially the more types of breads and rolls. Even if you are on a business trip, it is worth walking around in the downtown. It is only some hundreds of meters but a lot of nice buildings everywhere. When one does not have the money or mood for a good restaurant, fast food is also available on the next corner. The hotel staff is rather friendly which is still not always obvious in East Germany.

Have got to come back and spend longer at this loverly hotel, situated in the heart of the charming town of Weiden. The room was large and finished to a very high standard. Linked to the brewery the hotel has loads of quirky charm. Will be back.

The Altstadt Hotel Brau Wirt, as the name hints, is a quaint hotel inside the medieval borders of the city centre of Weiden which makes it a bit tough to find even with a GPS device. My room was big by any standard, very clean and well lit. The bathroom had all those attributes as well. A safe, a mini bar (albeit with a limited choice of drinks), flat screen TV, and good Wi-Fi connectivity finished off a pleasant room. I did miss coffee making facilities and a more comfortable bed, but I guess the hotel’s own charming brewery made up for that. The staff was friendly and the breakfast reached a respectable benchmark.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Service was superb, the room was excellent with a breakfast buffet that didn't fail to please. Check out the hotels own beer, wonderful. I stayed during the Christmas market which is, as all the shops and reataurants are, just a few steps from the hotel . No need to worry about parking they have a basement car park. My only gripe is that I had to leave.

First time to Germany and really enjoyed this hotel. Accomodations are first-class as are the people working there. My only complaint was the air-conditioning which was only marginally effective. However, we were there during an extremely hot time. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.
